KRUX Athletics, Saugus, Massachusetts

[ kruhks ] noun

A vital, pivotal point. Every client has one — the lift that stalls, the joint that complains, the reason they stopped training last time. Finding it is the job.

Old-school work. Smarter than it looks.

No trend-of-the-month workouts. Barbells, dumbbells, real coaching, and showing up. Three rules run every session.

Pain-free first

Pain is a problem to fix, not something to work around. We find what's causing it, whether that's how you move, what's weak, or what's compensating, and train it until it stops being an issue.

Small by design

One-on-one or a small group of two or three. No classes, no rotating trainers, nobody reading your program off a whiteboard.

Hard, not reckless

You'll work. But the goal is to leave stronger and come back next week, not to be wrecked for three days.

How you can train with Chris

Small group training

Train with a partner or two, groups of 2 to 3 people, with the same coaching and attention as a private session. Everyone gets their own plan, and you split the cost.

  • Partners and friends
  • Individual programs
  • Shared cost

Pain-free strength

For the back that tweaks, the shoulder that clicks, the knee that's been "fine" for ten years. Instead of ignoring it or avoiding the exercises that bother it, we find the root of the problem and fix it with the right training, so you can get strong without it holding you back.

  • Lower back
  • Shoulders
  • Knees and hips
  • Fixing old injuries

Strength for golfers New

Rotational power, hip and upper-back mobility, and a body that holds up for all 18. Chris is building out a golf-focused program now. If you play, ask about it when you reach out.

  • Rotational power
  • Mobility
  • Back health
  • Longevity in the game
